Well 1st off, I don't do top speed runs very often. I like breathing too much. Any ways, I(and g-friend) went to Da'ville to pick up my KYB's. This Modded Teg(running aftermarket rims, Apexi exhaust...I assume he had other NA parts), jump into the fast lane(cut in front of me). There was more than a few openings for him to get over, but he just kept pacing me at 85+mph. I tailed him a few times to see if he got the hint to move over...to no avail mad Any ways, the next large opening I moved over into the left hand lane to pass him. He again paced me......I pulled even with him and gave him the thumbs up and left him like he was standing still. note: didn't even notice my check engine light had came on(Code: 22...Vtec pressure switch) Listening to comedian Rodney Carrington cd all the way to 130+. Oh well, I hate assholes mad

Bigkat, nice smoke job man! I hate jerks too...damn kids. I was being tailed by some guy in a Grand Cherokee coming back from my fiance's house tonight. Since I was already going 10 mph over the posted speed limit on some country road where cops hang out I didn't want to push my luck. He's like right on my bumper with his high beams on lurching at me. Anyway, long story short, we get out on the main 4 lane road with some stoplights and he doesn't even try to pass me...he just stays on my tail! At the last stoplight which happens to be a long one I step out of my car and shout to him, "what's the problem?" The little punkass tells me that I'm going too slow and that he didn't want to pass me because he wanted to f*ck with me. Oh well...I guess that means I have to f*ck with him too. Light turns green, I don't move, he's honking and shouting. I stick my head out and say, "oh, just f*cking with you." A quick flip of the wrist out the sunroof with a middle finger salute and I leave him choking on a big cloud of burnt michelin's. Hmmmm...I wonder why he stayed a couple car lengths behind me for the rest of my trip???

HondaCivicEx98, sorry to hear that you're still having bogging problems. Did you ever check the bypass to see if that might be the culprit? Sometimes it sticks as it's closing which will give a bogging sensation followed by a jerk when it gets unstuck.

Ricardo - We should have no problems beating GSR(I/H/E). man I don't know why your ride is having so many problems. It has to be some type of fuel issues. I'm assuming Fred is taking about the large black solenoid that has an actuator attached to it(its spring loaded...should be on the left side of your manifold, toward TB). If thats it, just lift up on it and see if it springs back(it should......just did it to mine a sec. ago)

Fred - yeah man I hate assholes. I hven't ried to start a race for awhile. Usually they always trying to fuck with me. Most be my riced out Civic(a few stickers biggrin )

HondaCivicEx98, I think I might have the same problem as you on my 99 ex. Only mine does when cold. When accelerating normally from a stop, at around 2.5k-3k rpm the car starts jerking if I'm around .5-1 psi. It hasn't done it while I've been driving this summer, but my brother who drives the car to work in the morning says it still does it occasionally. I need to get a fuel pressure gauge to check my idle pressure because my idle is rough as hell too. If you figure out what the problem is let me know. Thanks.
